Scotian Isle is a Nova Scotian bakery. That being said, there isn't that much difference besides the omnipresence of oatcakes and perhaps the raisin pie. Besides that, expect some tasty, traditional Canadian bakery fare like butter tarts, pies, and cookies.

Absolutely love eating here. I’d highly recommend oat cakes and their meat pies. Friendly staff and great service. I’ve previously have pre order my weekly groceries such as bread, soups and muffins. Such a time saver!

Love this little cafe. Fresh soup and nice staff. Not a lot of options though. Few tables to sit and have quick lunch.

I have eaten at this establishment in the past and it does make great pot pies. Unfortunately, I have had two awful experiences. I placed an order on a Saturday for a cake and was told someone would call me during the week to confirm. I called on Wednesday as I had not received a call and was told the order was not put through. The lady I spoke to was very apologetic so I told her that I had a similar incident 5 years ago with regards to a cake order for my wedding. I then asked for a Manager and her attitude changed towards me not wanting to connect me to one. When I got in contact with Wendy the owner, she said "I know all about you" and that I berated her staff which, is farther from the truth. I was told that my business is not wanted and that they can do without one customer because they are thriving so well. Long story short, you will get good customer service if you don't have a complaint and as soon as you complain they don't want your business. I stayed away for five years and will never go back and or recommend this establishment to anyone. I am very appalled as to the way I was made out to be and that the owner of all people was lacking in any sort of customer service. She did not want to hear anything I had to say about my experience to make her business that much better. Apparently if you order a cake on Saturday there is no way the order is given to the staff that works during the week (caution).
