  For drinks, I ordered a scotch and my partner a cocktail. Cocktail was fine...even I liked it. Scotch I asked for only on a bit of ice - and the server asked if I wanted one of their 'king' giant ice cubes, to which I said no. Sure enough it came with one of those giant cubes. Maybe I'm just a snobby scotch drinker, but I'm also entitled to my correct order.

  Half the steaks we ordered were not cooked correctly. Presentation was absolutely awful. This restaurant did not even come close to my expectations. For the price, there are many better restaurants to eat at. Not sure what all the hype is about.

  My boyfriend and I went to The Keg last night for our anniversary dinner. It was the first time we had been to the new location and we had such an amazing experience! It was a Friday around 7pm and we were told there was a 45 minute wait, which turned out to be about an hour. The restaurant had a nice vibe and a waitress asked if we wanted a drink while we waited so it wasn't that bad. Once we got our table, the service was absolutely incredible - quick and attentive! Food was amazing and we even got a free dessert for our anniversary. When our waitress, Liana (who was so great), brought our bill, she let us know that her manager took our first round of drinks off the bill since we had to wait longer than expected. Will definitely be going back!!

  For the meal, I ordered rare tenderloin. It was great - no issues. My partner ordered the tenderloin medallions with shrimp medium rare. They came out with a sirloin medium rare with shrimp. Sure it tasted good, and I thought noticed a different in cut, but didn't say anything. Sure enough after looking at the bill I was right.

  Held a surprise dinner for my mother's 60th birthday, they were very organized and accommodating; allowing me to bring in balloons and my cake ahead of time. Our server was fantastic; great timing for everything and she made sure our dietary needs were met allergy- wise. The food was cooked to our liking. After we ate our meal, our server and another employee brought our cake with the candles lit and started to sing "happy birthday". My mother would not stop talking about how great the whole experience was. Perfect place for events or a relaxing night out.

  Arrived at 6:15pm on a Saturday night and waited almost 2 hours for the table. We had time to wait so weren't bothered by it. The food and drinks were all good but a few mistakes were made. Despite the mistakes, food was great and mostly we didn't notice until the bill came around. But still a bit upsetting, given that we put down over a $100 order.

  Overall keg is pretty good. And steak is steak. But considering we only do this once a year tops, its pretty upsetting to have your order mixed up like that.

  Went into the Masonville Keg on New Year's Eve. There were 8 of us so we knew we would wait for a table as would be expected at any decent restaurant on a busy night like that. We quickly found a table for all of us in the bar with Kaitlin serving us and she was wonderful. Drinks delicious and fantastic appetizers. Emily served us once we got to the Dining room and she was quick, efficient and tons of fun. The food was so good I'll still be dreaming about it in a month. Then we went back to the bar to celebrate the ball dropping and Kayla was equally wonderful as the other two. We had a magnificent night from start to finish without a single negative thing to say. Thanks for an amazing New Year's Eve!
