  At that time I also noticed that my top tube has scratches, two 12mm x 12mm bare spots on it, various other marks spanning the 4" area where their stand/ vise was attached and that the aluminum tube is deformed and dented along that same length.

  This bike is not replaceable or low end (3k) and doesn't have similar marks or wear all over inferring it would be acceptable to add more. There's no repair or compensation suitable other than a nice sticker over the area & review warning others to steer clear.

  Best part: they wiped down the whole bike and couldn't have missed the damage or flakes of enamel that came off the area.

  Friendly service, and affordable prices. I went in looking for a part for my bike, which cost significantly less than I imagined. They also offer a "tune-up package" for $60 which is incredible considering the work offered in the package. Amazing selection if you're looking for a new bike or a specialized part. These guys are experts. I highly recommend Outspokin Cycles vs. the competition (and no, I'm not personally related to anyone who works there, I am just a random customer who legitimately thinks this place is seriously awesome).

  I brought two trail bikes in for an end of season tuneup and discussed work that would be conducted as part of the quoted price. When I picked up the bikes I did not check the work, just like they didn't have to check my payment. I unpacked the bikes in the garage and found wheel truing not completed; seems I will do this myself now despite paying for it.

  Twice I've been in this store. On the first occasion, I was browsing for gloves and overheard an employee insulting emergency service workers, which I took offence to as I work in this field. On the second, I called ahead of time in search of a specific helmet. I provided the employee over the phone the make/model/size/colour I was looking for. The employee proceeded to tell me he had two in stock and was looking at them. Upon attending the store, I was told they don't have the helmet I wanted. When I mentioned that I was told over the phone that it was in stock, I was told the employee "doesn't know what he's talking about." Do yourself a favour, take your business somewhere where your time won't be wasted and employees keep their opinions to themselves.

  Great shop. Friendly service. Good value in both sales and service. You will never feel as though you're being upsold. It's a shop run by people that genuinely like biking - and it shows.
