  If you need to use your glasses to check the alarm it might be past time to look into LASIK. My optometrist gave me 3 references to LASIK centres in southern Ontario and I chose to go to Dr. Nichols because of his experience. The procedure is not too bad, if you're not claustrophobic, and I could see a difference immediately afterwards. The most discomfort was actually on the way home, when I had to open my eyes now and then to let them water. Uncomfortable, yes, but very bearable. I have no regrets 6 months later and would recommend it to others with nearsightedness. Thanks to Dr. Nichols for what he did, and to the Lord for making humans with a built-in capacity to heal!

  I considered doing laser eye surgery for some time now and was worried that I wouldn't be a good candidate for it. My concern was that the company who conducts the surgeries simply said yes to everyone. However, I can confidently say that they do not say yes to everyone, and I really appreciate that. After my consultation the Doctor contacted me and told me that I was not an ideal candidate for eye surgery. You may think that getting that news would upset me. However, I was pleased to see that the company had integrity and high standards. They are honest enough to let individuals know if they are or aren't good candidates even at their own expense. The consultation was free to me but I am certain it cost the company a fair deal. So I respect that they didn't try and sell me a surgery that might be harmful to me. Sure, I am disappointed that I cannot go through with the procedure, but it is great to know that if I did go through with it the Doctors and staff at TLC had my best interest at heart. If my situation changes I would definitely choose them.
