  If I could give a 0 star I would. I just bought a sectional couch from there but they messed up the order pretty bad. Like two weeks of waiting bad. And on top of it all, their customer service sucks. Talk about pushy sales driven crazy employees. Don’t step foot into the place unless you want the sales reps bombarding you with sales tactics. It is a crazy operation where people think they are going to make it big in the company and they try to sell everything in site to anyone in the store. It makes their cheap furniture look even more cheap than it already is.

  The Store Manager Ben preferred to antagonize us and telling us that it was our problem not his. Not only did he fail to provide any corrective action, but he wouldn't even take any responsibility for the problem created by his team and would not apologize. We would have been open to working something out, but the attitude was the final straw. We took our refund and went to a local competitor through which everything was a dream compared to this. After this episode I would suggest to avoid Furniture Mattress Surplus.

  Second time we ordered a king-sized Serta mattress, at a very good price, that they didn't have in stock and we were told it would be in in "a week or two at most". It's been a couple weeks now and we were even told it came in, went and paid the balance, and then informed later that day that even though they had checked in the back when I was there that it wasn't actually in and we'd have to wait another week or more. Only buy things they can prove to you they have in stock unless you are a very, very patient individual.

  Nice people but very very cheap product spent $400 on a new kitchen table and the tables Vinyl is scratched on each corner. Better off to spend more elsewhere.

  this place is a complete rib off. I went there to buy some bar stools that they advertise on their flyer. took my flyer with me to their store and showed them what I wanted. they say the special has run out. and wanted to charge me full price. I asked them to show me on the flyer if there is a time limit. they replied non of our weekly flyers have expiry date.and I just have to take their word by it. b.s I walked out disappointed. staff did not give dam about my business. went to Canadian Tire and pay $20 more and bought a much better quality stools from a decent store.

  Cheap furniture of decent quality. The first time we went we had our very reasonably priced sectional delivered the same day, mere hours after we picked it out and paid for it. Had to attach the feet to the sectional by ourselves without any instructions, and there's a non-trivial delivery fee, but it was otherwise a good experience.

  Their team organized transport for through a third party "Red Rhino" transportation, who had us waiting for delivery for a Saturday afternoon, and an entire Sunday and consistently told us it would be later and later. When Red Rhino told us the delivery wouldn't happen on Sunday we called the store asking if there was any option to have it shipped that day (they had previously mentioned another company they partner with) and we would even be willing to pay extra to have it delivered, but they refused to help.
