  This fine accommodation has all the needs of your average traveller covered. You can grab a excellent Brisket Sandwich and Chocolate Milk from the Beef Barron fine dining Restaurant and Dance Club right next door! How convenient. The front desk clerk had both eyes and most of his teeth. And the parking lot was full of delightful Young women who were helpful with directions and would accompany you right to your room to explain further. The sweet smokey ambiance was so rustic and made me feel like I was back in the depression era where rations were key. After a rejuvenating rest and checking out your new rash you can treat yourself to a delectable complimentary breakfast at "The Corner". Found on the main floor next to the janitorial supplies is a moderate selection of items fresh from your grocers freezer. There is no lack of entertainment amidst the entire location. Chase scenes. Screaming matches and stains of every kind on every surface. I felt very secure as the police would regularly come by my room to check on me and look for hoodlums lurking about. This might be the finest accommodations east of Adelaide St. in the city. As soon as my bloodwork comes back I will return to stay again.

  I understood from the name of the hotel that this would be an economy stay with the bare minimum of what I needed. However, I was shocked at the level of decay that the hotel and room was in. The foyer was quite misleading with it being clean and modern. And then I stepped into the hallway where handmade carpeted boards replace stairs and the smell from the carpet reminded me of a sleazy bar. My room was adequate in size, but had numerous problems.

  We were told that there was a special rate if u were in London staying at the hospital so we went there and the lady explained that only on that day the special rate was unavailable I had just got out of surgery so I wasn’t going to argue. The room cost 158 after taxes which I thought was very pricy. The room was not the cleanest and there was Cigarette ashes and a tampon wrapper in one of the drawers also was written kill all n****** which I though was horrible You would think that there would be an attempt to have that erased or cleaned up during our visit two of the vehicles in the parking lot and it up getting broken into and then I went to go get a pop and the machine ate my money and they were refusing to give it back which I didn’t really care about because it was I think just a dollar but still overall and I have been all over Canada and too many hotels this was one of the worst stays I’ve ever had. And I have never actually wrote a review but I thought that it would be appropriate to let others be aware and that they should Probably steer clear of this one and find another place to stay if possible I gave one star because it’s not Possible to give no stars but if I could there would be no stars given but I will give them this the bathroom was clean I had clean towels so I have to give them that and the night staff was very friendly

  Overall I have to say that this stay was definitely the least value for my money ever.

  2. The shower head leaked so badly that it soaked me before I even got in the shower. Because of this there weren't enough towels to mop up the spilled water all the way out to the entrance.

  1. The outlet where the TV was plugged in was obviously a fire hazard with approx 12 things plugged in to the 1 outlet with multiple extension cords.

  3. I felt the cleanliness of the room was lacking. I don't like renting a room and wondering if or when the last time the tub has been scrubbed. And then I wonder when the last time the linens have been cleaned!

  The place is infested with bed bugs. They require a hundred dollars key deposit on top of the $120 cost of the room, which is not a reasonable price for the below average room. Old beds. Dirty. The reception staff are nice though. It's not their fault they work in a dive.
