    The general manager was even less helpful and professional. We were told if we wanted the money back WE would have to speak to the guest they transferred it to.

    Upon returning to the hotel we were advised that this previously pet-friendly hotel was no longer pet-friendly and that we would have to leave, two days before the end of our reservation.

    Great rooms and very friendly,polite,and helpful staff. We would definitely come back to this location. Lots of parking as well

    Long story short they kicked my 70yo grandmother (mentally ill and has trouble walking), out in the cold because she had no money for late checkout that her family had already warned them of then made payment of last minute

    When we were checking in we were told about the hockey groups and to let them know if it gets to noisy.

    It wasn't just the kids running all over the halls ...the parents were partying in the halls and making just as much noise as the kids!

    In all fairness there was alot of kids because of hockey tournaments in London. I will defiantly check before I stay here again.

    Long story, was flying my 70yo grandmother to Alberta to be with the rest of the family for Christmas. Upon arriving at the airport, we were late and the staff was very helpful and understanding and was able to rebook our flight for the next day. Now we needed a place to keep grandma for the night and these guys had a good price when I called in ($75 a night + $20-$30 extra for late checkout) so I picked them. Upon arrival at the motel we had discovered the girl over the phone had misquoted us, after calling around to some other employees she told us late checkout was actually $50 a night. They wouldn't honor the quote she gave me over the phone, but no big deal, the employee was young and it seemed as if she was more than likely new. So told her that was fine, paid what I had to and situated Grandma and left. Next day while I was at work Grandma called me freaking out telling me they needed her to pay for late checkout or else she had to leave. So I called in and explained the situation and tell the lady and told her I can either be there for 4pm to pay or I can pay over the phone. She told me they required payment before 12 and couldnt take payment over the phone so I called my aunt and got her to call and take care of the situation because I was busy at work and couldn't be taking personal calls. But may I remind you, before all of this when I checked in, I did mention to the lady that there would be a late checkout. Anyhow they somehow ended up taking payment over the phone from my aunt. So she notifies me that the situation has been taken care of. Then when I finished at work and was on my way to bring Grandma to the airport, she calls me to tell me she was at the mall because they kicked her out of the motel, and didn't want to worry anyone or cause problems so she didn't say anything. The mall is 1km away and she had a suitcase with her and it was about -15 outside. I made a complaint to get my money back for late checkout and was told to come in and speak with a manager, so I did, but upon arrival the manager was gone and they asked us to come back tomorrow. Obviously I was extremely upset with the suggestion and asked if my number could be taken down in order to receive a call next time the manager is available. It's now a month and a half later and no word from anyone at motel 6. I'm absolutely disgusted with the customer service and civil decency among management here.

    They erroneously transferred our payment for our room to another guest. When we approached the front desk we were told they couldn't help us.

    Would have been 5 stars if they had coffee pot in room. But easy fast check in, clean nice room. All I wanted and what I got.

    Spend your money at a hotel that deserves it. The Motel 6 London certainly does not.

    We called Motel 6 customer service (who were incredibly friendly and helpful) and within ten minutes we received an email advising us the funds had been transferred back to our room.
