  We hired Galen to repair leaking tiles in our upstairs shower. Upon further inspection, he found mold and rotting wood underneath. We also had to have the glass shower door replaced. Galen and crew exceeded our expectations. We were very impressed with his continual follow ups and progress reports regarding the job at hand. His meticulousness translated well into the final product. He always made sure everything was done correctly and in a timely manner. Galen was always very professional, and it was easy to tell that he cares about his clients. We will definitely be using him again for future contracting work.

  I hired Galen McCue from Chizld Design to help me with some home renovations. My house was built in the 1950's and as you can imagine the walls and door frames are not square and the walls are not flush so this made tiling a bit of a challenge.

  We had Galen and the CHIZLD team come repair our sagging floor, re-do the plumbing that cut through that floor, move and install our cast iron tub upstairs, patch the wall in the bathroom where we removed a door frame and put a rough in for a future shower.

  Galen tiled my basement floor and bathroom, hung new doors and enclosed a very awkward opening in the downstairs bathroom - the finished result is amazing, I truly can't believe how he was able to convert such a area into a amazing living space. Galen also tiled a back-splash behind my stove, I bought a handmade Mexican tile which at the time I didn't realise that each tile was different (concave and not square) but once again he did and amazing job and it looks wonderful.
