  Great selection of art and not quite mainstream films you won't find anywhere else in London. Don't expect quite the comfort of a big chain. Think old school. Great picture though.

  Comfortable, friendly service, best place to view re-runs, alternative movies and films, arts productions and many other options not otherwise available in the regular movie theaters.

  Long established movie house in London showing the best in indie, art house and international cinema. It's an old theatre so don't expect all mod cons or a steep rise (if yer short ya might need to search for a seat with a clear sightlines). Tea as well as traditional movie theatre treats are available at the concession counter. The newly paved parking lot is the latest much needed upgrade. The Hyland is actively fundraising for a new digital projector so please support!

  Fantastic staff and wonderful theatre. Took my father to see White Christmas (his favourite) and had a blast. I've been a few times since then and same good experience.

  If you don't want to see the Hollywood blockbusters that are sequels of sequels, the Hyland theatre in London is the place to see great movies. It might not be as flashy as the mega movie theaters but what's on offer here is much better in terms of meaningful cinema.
