I had high hopes for this place after hearing pretty good reviews from friends so I decided to try it out one day for lunch. When we got there the guy pretty much ignored us for the first while. I decided on getting the buffet. I tried a couple vegetable and bean dishes and I've never had more greasy Indian food in my life. All of the veggie options were basically swimming in grease, it might be better if you're eating non vegetarian here but I can't say for sure! Sadly I'll can't recommend going here to anyone!

So after dropping $45 on my dinner, I was still very hungry afterwards. According to other reviews of this restaurant, the portion sizes are no mistake and confirmed by the restaurant itself as their normal sizing.

But hey, I've figured out why the delivery time was about 30 minutes. Doesn't take that long to put a few spoonfuls in a container.

Awesome place! We always leave so full that we regret our life decisions, and have enough leftovers for lunch for two the next day. For $60, we get a solid 4 meals. Food is always delicious and prompt. Eat in the restaurant, there's a world that exists outside of your living room...

I am an enthusiastic lover of Indian food, and was extremely excited to place an order for delivery to my home last night. The arrival of the food was prompt, which I appreciated - within 30 minutes.

Upon opening what I had ordered, which came to $45.00, my excitement soon turned to disappointment. The three takeout containers which I had ordered were about 1/3 full, and barely had any food in them! The chicken dish I ordered had maybe four or five little chunks of chicken in it!

The portion sizes were utterly horrendous, considering that on their own each dish costs around $13. Really? $13, for barely a sample of food?

Tandoori Platter has just right amount of heat. Quite tasty. Should include rice and delete the small salad. Naan bread is delicious. Beef samosa also excellent. I will definitely return.

Best Indian restaurant in the city. Comfort food at its finest. Family owned and they are so kind. Food always comes out of the kitchen quickly or arrives at my home quickly, when I order delivery.

I am disheartened that any food related business would practice this way. You would assume they get into the business because they are passionate about food, and would like to spread their passion to others...not rip them off and give them a bad experience.

Won't be returning my business to you ever again, and definitely would never recommend. The only recommendation I would make about Jewel of India is to skip it entirely. Disgraceful.
